David has focused his counseling career on working couples that are impacted by sex and pornography addiction. David is certified to work with those with addiction and is certified to work with their partners using a trauma-based approach (the word codependent has been taken out back and shot). Specifically, he works with addicts to reclaim their life from sex and pornography addiction and restore their identity, integrity, and self-esteem. He works with partners whose world has been shattered by betrayal, anger, and confusion. Finally, he works with couples in repairing trust, experience healing, and work toward a healthy relationship. 

Although all couples are not candidates for the 3-Day Couples Intensive, many are, and they can benefit from getting 4-6 months of therapy in this intense 3-day program and leap forward in their recovery. Those that are not candidates for the intensive will still receive the same therapy, care, and support, that is offered in the intensive.
